Abilities
Always Active
Cerastes’ suit enhanced with alien technology grants him Immunity to , , , and . Cerastes also cannot have his Ability Accuracy modified.
Cerastes seeks methods to prolong his existence. Whenever the Attacker gains an or Immortality effect, it is removed. Once per fight, when this ability prevents an effect, Cerastes gains an Passive for 6 seconds.
Cerastes’ suit is constantly overflowing with energy, increasing the Attacker's Spirit Gain Rate by 400%.
Corrupted Armor Variants
Cerastes has 3 variants of Corrupted Armor: Leg, Shield, and Spirit. Each reduces incoming damage from all sources by 30%.
By striking specific sources of Corrupted Armor, the Attacker can damage Corrupted Armor Variants. While damaged, Corrupted Armor slowly repairs itself at a rate of 1 stack of Corrupted Armor every 0.4 seconds. Repairs are 50% slower during Special Attacks and while Strikers are active.
When a Corrupted Armor Variant has been damaged, it becomes locked and cannot be damaged again until a different Armor Variant has been damaged.
While Cerastes is fighting against Mutants, repair times are 35% faster.
While Cerastes is suffering from Infuriate, repair times are 70% faster.
Depending on the current Phase of the battle, Cerastes can Overcharge his Corrupted Armor Variants, triggering deadly abilities and regaining the maximum amount of Armor.
Corrupted Armor Break
After damaging a Corrupted Armor Variant, if 0 stacks remain, it is broken for 12 seconds, removing its damage reductions. For each Armor Break Debuff or Damaging Debuff on Cerastes, this duration is increased by 1 second, up to 18 seconds.
When a broken state expires, the Corrupted Armor Variant is reset with maximum stacks. If 2 Corrupted Armor Variants are broken, the final Corrupted Armor cannot be locked.
While broken, Cerastes takes +125% increased damage and cannot have his Armor repaired or damaged.
When a Corrupted Armor Variant is broken, refresh the duration of all other active breaks.
While all Corrupted Armor Variants are broken, Cerastes is Passively Stunned for 16 seconds and does not gain Power from being struck. When this Stun expires, Cerastes resets all Corrupted Armor Variants with 300 stacks of Armor.
If Cerastes takes more than 15% of his Max Health while this Stun is active, it starts expiring 200% faster.
Leg Armor - Max: 300
Whenever Cerastes is knocked down, 100 stacks of Leg Armor are damaged. For each Unique Buff on the Attacker, an additional 5 stacks are damaged, up to a maximum of 125 Armor total.
When Leg Overcharge is triggered, it lasts for 12 seconds. While active, Cerastes becomes Passively and Stun Immune against the last hit of incoming Special 1, Special 2, and Heavy Attacks.
Shield Armor - Max: 300
Whenever the Attacker strikes Cerastes’ Block, 100 stacks of Shield Armor are damaged. For each Unique Buff on the Attacker, an additional 5 stacks are damaged up to a maximum of 125 Armor total. This also occurs when Auto-Block is Broken or bypassed.
When Shield Overcharge is triggered, it lasts for 12 seconds. While active, striking Cerastes’ Block unleashes a Repulsor Blast, knocking his Opponent over and inflicting a Passive, dealing 6,628.8 Energy Damage over 12 seconds. This Blast cannot be prevented due to Evade, Miss, or Auto-Block.
Spirit Armor - Max: 300
Whenever the Attacker strikes Cerastes with the final hit of a Striker, 100 stacks of Spirit Armor are damaged. For each Unique Buff on the Attacker, an additional 5 stacks are damaged, up to a maximum of 125 Armor total.
When Spirit Overcharge is triggered, it lasts for 12 seconds. While active, Cerastes Passively becomes , , and gains True Sense. These effects are paused for 2.5 seconds if Cerastes is Intercepted.
Special Attack 1
Each hit inflicts a Plasma Passive, dealing 11,048 Energy Damage over 4 seconds. These Plasmas can be inflicted through Block at half potency. If the Block is Well-Timed, no Plasma is inflicted.
On activation, Cerastes gains an Auto-Block Passive for 3 seconds. If this Auto-Block is Broken or bypassed, it is removed.
Special Attack 2
Each hit inflicts a Plasma Passive, dealing 11,048 Energy Damage over 4 seconds. These Plasmas can be inflicted through Block at half potency. If the Block is Well-Timed, no Plasma is inflicted.
On activation, Cerastes gains an Auto-Block Passive for 3 seconds. If this Auto-Block is Broken or bypassed, it is removed.
Special Attack 3
Instantly K.O. the Opponent. This damage cannot be prevented or reduced.
Phase Transitions
The effects of each Phase stack unless noted otherwise.
When transitioning between Phases, Cerastes’ suit triggers Overdrive, removing all Stuns, regaining all Corrupted Armor Variants, and preventing Cerastes from having his Health decreased or Armor damaged for any reason.
Overdrive is removed when Cerastes’ is Intercepted by a Light or Medium Attack, detonating the energy inside Cerates’ suit, dealing him a burst of Direct Damage equal to 1% of Cerastes’ Max Health and removing all Damaging effects from Cerastes.
Phase 1 - INITIALIZING - 100% to 91%
If a Corrupted Armor Variant ever fully repairs back to 300 stacks, it triggers its Overcharge.
Phase 2 - DIRECTIVE FOUND - 90% to 51%
At the start of this Phase, Cerastes sets all of his Corrupted Armor Variants to 225 stacks.
For the duration of this Phase, if the Attacker attempts to damage a locked Armor Variant, Cerastes immediately repairs 100 stacks of Corrupted Armor to the targeted Corrupted Armor Variant.
Phase 3 - ANALYSIS COMPLETE - 50% to 6%
At the start of this Phase, Cerastes sets each of his Corrupted Armor Variants to a random amount of stacks between 50 and 250.
Cerastes cannot be inflicted with Stuns that aren’t his own.
When a broken state ends for any reason, the broken Corrupted Armor Variant is now reset with a random amount of stacks between 50 and 250.
For the duration of this Phase, if the Attacker attempts to damage a Corrupted Armor Variant that has been locked, Cerastes triggers its respective Overcharge.
Phase 4 - I AM CERASTES - 5% to 1%
At the start of this Phase, Cerastes removes all of his Corrupted Armor to turn all of his Corrupted Armor Variants to Overcharge indefinitely. This slowly drains Cerastes’ Health, losing 4% of his Max Health over 16 seconds.
With all of his Systems on Overcharge, Cerastes takes no damage from the Attacker.
When Cerastes is left with 1% Health, his suit goes into Meltdown, his Overcharges are disabled, his Health is no longer drained, both Champions’ Attack Ratings are set to 0, and he is inflicted with an indefinite Intimidate Passive.
Striking Cerastes’ Block with a Light Attack at 1% Health will cause a complete system collapse, detonating all of the energy inside Cerastes’ Suit, dealing a burst of 99,999 Direct Damage.
